Eric Lee is an experienced IT Manager with a proven track record of successfully overseeing project deliveries from planning to execution. With over 27 years of relevant experience, he has handled projects across Asia Pacific, United States, and Europe. Currently working at Seagate, Eric is responsible for overseeing the Sales & Marketing (SMA) Systems, Vendavo, SalesForce.Com (SFDC), and OpenText Web Experience Management (WEM) and Portal functional areas. Eric has extensive experience in the implementation of Intranet and Extranet sites, and applications supporting Sales & Marketing across Asia Pacific, America, and EMEA countries. He participates in reviews of end-to-end operational processes and establishes agreed controls, SOP & SLA. Eric also facilitates discussions and requirement gathering to establish a high-level operating model and cost on project initiatives. He is adept at escalating issues pertaining to business, design, and functional requirements that implicate project scope, budget, and timeline. Eric has a strong background in software quality assurance, release management, and web content management. He reviews functional specifications, process maps, detailed processes, and procedures for sign-off. He supports business users and development teams in testing, reviewing SOP, and operational readiness for project launch and post-implementation issues. Eric also prioritizes business-as-usual change requests for existing systems and provides advisory on system configuration and implementation in support of existing systems. Eric is skilled in establishing development standard procedures to ensure all project deliveries are of high standards. He also establishes rework and UAT indexes to measure the quality delivery of the development team. Eric arranges quarterly meetings with top management to review current project status and future project plans. He meets with various team leads to review project status and provide solutions to any doubts and gaps encountered. Eric is also responsible for establishing development and learning plans for the staffs and hiring staff for his team. Eric has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (Information Systems) from Queensland University of Technology and a Diploma in Information Technology (Information Systems) from Temasek Polytechnic. He is proficient in web, QA, test, Salesforce, integration, mobile, software engineer, and backend technologies. Eric is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
